The first Brahmapootras were imported in 1846 from Lukpoor, a good distance from Brahma Pootra River. SUB SPECIES: -Light Brahma -Dark Brahma -Buff Brahma DESCRIPTION:Male is about 5.5 kg and female is about 4 kg in weight. AVAIRY POSITION:Wire based 2m2 avairy. FEEDING: Seeds, green food and pellets. BREEDING AGE: 6months. BREEDING SEASON: In suitable conditions all the year. NUMBER OF EGGS IN A YEAR: 150-180 eggs. INCUBATION PERIOD: 21 days. |
