RANGE: India.
HABITAT:Forests and planted areas.
HISTORY: Linne 1758.
DESCRIPTION: Although they look magnificent , they have terrible voice. It is easy to keep them in avairies but you have to be careful about their diease 'blackhead'. They have some mutations like black-shoulder, white, and pied.
AVAIRY POSITION:Well planted 37 m2 avairy.
FEEDING:Pellets, seeds, green food, live food.
BREEDING AGE:In the second year.
BREEDING SEASON: April - june.
NUMBER OF EGGS IN A YEAR:16-24 eggs.
INCUBATION PERIOD: 27-29 days.
