RANGE: Vietnam.
HABITAT:Bamboo forests in central Vietnam.
HISTORY: Oustalet 1896.
DISCRIPTION: Edward's pheasant is one of the most endangered  of all pheasants. It is easy to keep them in avairies but in winter time you have to be carefull about providing them dry shelter. It is better to keep them in pairs.
AVAIRY POSITION: Well planted 12m2 avairy. But also they can be breed in smaller avairies.
FEEDING: Pellets, seeds, green food, live food.
BREEDING AGE: First year.
BREEDING SEASON:March.
NUMBER OF EGGS IN A YEAR:7-21  eggs.
INCUBATION PERIOD:25 days.
