| RANGE: Western Pakistan to Nepal. HABITAT:They mostly live at 1500-2700 m on open ,grassy hills or in light forests. HISTORY: Hardwicke 1827. DISCRIPTION: Male and female look very similar but male has white breast feathers with black contur and females have black feathers with white contur. AVAIRY POSITION:18 m2 grass or sand based avairy. FEEDING: Normal pheasant diet. BREEDING AGE: First year. FEEDING SEASON: After 15'th of april. NUMBER OF EGGS IN A YEAR: 18-24 eggs. INCUBATION PERIOD: 26 days. |
