So the breeders used goldens' females.It is important to recognize the correct female of golden in stead of Lady Amhersts' females. These are the tips; a) Goldens' legs are yellow. b)Goldens' females are smaller than the Lady Amherst's females. c)Lady Amherst's females' legs are green-gray.d) Golden females have no tinge of red in the crown. AVAIRY POSITION:Well planted 9 m2 avairy. FEEDING: Pellets, seeds, green food, live food. BREEDING AGE: Second year but also it is possible to have fertile eggs in the first year. BREEDING SEASON: Mid- April. NUMBER OF EGGS IN A YEAR: 24-36 eggs. INCUBATION PERIOD: 22-23 days. |
