DESCRIPTION: Male 240-272 mm.Males have  a white stripe over their eyes and a white throat. Females have a buff eye stripe and throat. They form large groups during the winter called coveys. These coveys can consit of up to 30 birds.The chicks should keep in bigger brooders because in small places they can  eat each others.        
AVAIRY POSITION:Sand based 1.25 m2 avairy.
FEEDING: Chick crumbs, millets, live food and little green food.
BREEDING AGE: One year.
BREEDING SEASON: In the suitable conditions they can lay eggs all the year.
NUMBER OF EGGS IN A YEAR: 150-180 eggs.
INCUBATION PERIOD: 22-23 days.
